Chicken

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

Butter Baste

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice OR 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)

  • Optional: 1–2 tsp hot sauce for a tiny kick


🔥 Instructions

1. Prep the oven

Preheat to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking dish or sheet pan with foil or parchment.

2. Season the chicken

Pat chicken dry (super important for crisping).
Sprinkle evenly with:

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Paprika

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Oregano

Toss to coat well.

3. Make the butter baste

In a bowl, mix:

  • Melted butter

  • Garlic

  • Lemon

  • Parsley (optional)

Pour half of this butter mixture over the chicken and toss to coat.

4. Arrange & bake

Place chicken pieces on the baking sheet skin side up.

Bake for 40–50 minutes, turning once halfway through.
